The organisers of the International Triennial of Silicate Arts endeavour to promote creativity by presenting prestigious awards to the best works shown in the exhibition. The prizes include cash awards, exhibition opportunities and free residency periods at the world famous, International Ceramics Studio in Kecskemét, Hungary. A distinguished international jury comprising of professional artists from each discipline, art critics, museum curators and magazine publishers will select the successful exhibitors and present awards to outstanding works. The theme for the 2008 Triennial is "SYMBOLIC AND NARRATIVE" and the organisers hope that the theme will be freely interpreted.
